(1926-1997) One of rendering pioneers of Japanese sf, who began publishing work of seminar interest with "Sekisutora" ["Sextra"] transfer Uchūjin #2 in 1957. Hoshi, who specialized in the short-short story, became the first full-time sf writer in Japan.
