1974 Graduated from Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham  
1976 Printer / photographer for Sotheby's, London 
1976 First toured & photographed the West of Ireland  
1978 Visiting lecturer at Blackpool College of Art, until 1981  
1981 One year Photography Fellowship, Sheffield Polytechnic  
1982 First toured North America  
1985 Visiting lecturer at West Surrey College of Art, until 1989  
1986 Chair of Counter Image Ltd, Manchester until 1990  
1986 First book published, "Mist Mountain Water Wind"  
1989 Visiting lecturer at Nottingham Polytechnic, until 1991  
1991 Moved to Cardiff, Wales - from Stockport, England  
1993 BBC Wales Arts Award, in visual arts
